I'm glad we have gotten a great response from the thread .
    I know a little about F2F ( not allot )
i know some about LS and SNI ..

But it it's the contribution of operators from all that make the thread stay alive with great info

It's a lot like landstar but you can dictate what you will take for a rate and no satellite there are a lot of similar companies out there not just F2F. It's research and threads that help us all try and make informed decisions and if we are unsatisfied we can always take our truck elsewhere.

I've been running the SNI Choice Board for a year and a half. This week my loads total 2,714 miles and $4773 gross ($1.758 avg per mile including all deadhead miles). I'm still looking for a load for Monday, and I'll be in Indianapolis, so I should be able to grab something for around $1.80-$2 per mile in the neighborhood of 400 miles or so (running low on my 70). I will net around $2K this week...maybe a little more (By the way, if any SNI drivers want me to mentor, I'll try to help out any way that I can). The payroll cutoff is late Monday night, but the times seem to vary. It is true that we get paid for a load as long as it is completed on the Qualcomm by Monday at cutoff ...as late as 11pm one time, but I'd get it completed by 9ish to be on the safe side. I haven't scanned any paperwork in probably a month. hahah...seriously. Every once in a while I'll get a message on the Qualcomm asking me to scan the bills for a specific load number, but I have found it's easier to just wait on them to ask instead of constantly scan paperwork. The problem that I have with Schneider is that it's like a babysitting service sometimes. "Your truck is due for the quarterly DOT safety inspection." or "Please send in CPAP Compliance information" (I've been suspended for being out of compliance and was nearly terminated), "Quarterly Safety Quiz is due." etc...Too much pestering. I'm thinking about taking the truck to Waymore Transportation out of Fridley, MN. I've talked to one of their drivers for a while now. They get paid 75% pulling company reefer trailers or 85% pulling your own trailer. He claims to be getting checks between $2500 to $3000 every week, but they also run paper logs. Sounds #### good to me...I'm probably averaging about $1200 a week net on the choice board at SNI, but I take off a lot. On weeks when I run, I can gross $5k. My best week so far is $6200 gross. It takes a while to find the good lanes, so I struggled in the beginning for two or three months, but I've been doing okay since then. If not for the babysitting crap, I'd probably hang around a bit longer. I'm going to put in my two weeks notice though so if things at Waymore don't work out, I can come back to SNI. Schneider has some really good people. I've worked OTR at Werner and JB Hunt, and have had quite a few local and regional jobs. Schneider's phone agents (ICR or ICA) and the people at Schneider Finance are exceptional. Not even remotely comparable to JB and Werner (Both SUCK)

Oh yeah, someone asked about taking a SNI trailer home. I can't speak for other drivers, but I've never been charged for taking the trailer home. I think it's $25 a day. I've sat under a trailer for a week with no load on me, and I wasn't charged a dime.

Yeah, I'm pissed. hahah...seriously, I'm happy for ya man. Are you running LandStar's board? You must pull oversized, eh? Either that or you work as a lot lizard when you're supposed to be in the sleeper. ;)

I live near Dallas, TX, so the rates are decent. Varies a lot depending on where I take it to. Why do you ask? Are you running on the SNI Board? I've heard of one SNI driver grossing $9k in a week, but it was heresay from another SNI Choice Board guy that told me he saw his $9k settlement.
