That's great! And thank you for reading. .I know there are ups and downs in life and amazingly it helps me when I'm able to go back and read about them. .I figure if there's more UPs than downs we're doing something right.

You're going to enjoy life at ACT! Are you coming on as a contractor or going company?

 

Well they cancelled my Certainteed load. . Or at least they rescheduled it for 6/7..I told them that I wasnt waiting that long. . (I thought it as funny. .lol.. they didn't)

So I received a 2 choice load offer. .I took the St Jo to Lexington TN load. . (Because I knew it was a drop hook both ends and it could deliver ASAP).. got that dropped and received a load going from Union City Tn to Freeport IL.. (just west of Rockford) for ASAP..

Now one would THINK that with so much of our freight coming out of Rockford that's where I'd reload. .HA! You silly fool!

I got a 2 load offer. . Chicago to Fountain inn SC (ugh! Chicago and I know it's a Grainger load..crap hole under a bridge and hard to get to) other load is Des Plaines to Excelsior springs mo..ASAP! (I took this one. . It's light and d/h 24/7).. only bad thing, shipper is close to Chicago! And these people are crazy. . Had to laugh. .I watched a little China man chew a Puerto Rican drivers rear end while the Russian yard dog driver hid.. because the yard dog didn't move a trailer.

Anyway. . It's about 1730.. I'm waiting for traffic to clear out a little before I move. Stay safe

 

Lmao. . First time I went there my GPS tried to send me into an apartment complex. .I sat on top of the bridge trying to figure out where I was (thank God it was the middle of the night).

The good Lord looks out for fools and truck drivers. .a Grane truck driver drove past me and turned under the bridge. .I just followed him.

 

I've only been there once. . I'm not sure of the route to get there.. if I ever go back, once I get to the area I wouldn't have any problem finding it.

I just don't care for Chicago. .period. The traffic headaches aren't worth my time. . So when I see Chicago on a load, I turn it down.
