Hi all, I just traded for this but it doesn't say if it's Hd or LD or if it will work with SSB. Don't know how many watts to put into it. Thanks for any help.

I would try 1-4 watts. It's a low wattage amp.

I don't know if it'll help any but I'm running a Cobra 29LTD radio with a Palomar Elite 250 and a Wilson 5000 magnetic mount antenna. I had my Radio dead key carrier output lowered to 2 Watts and My Modulation turned up so that it swings about 8 Watts barefoot. That setup really kicks butt and will give a total output of around 175 Watts with the Palomar on high. One important thing though. When you take the Radio to a CB shop for the Modification I mentioned, DO NOT under any circumstances let them cut or bypass the Modulation limiter. That keeps your Radio from overmodulating, distorting, and splattering all over other channels.
