Hopefully the bull gear is still in good shape. I know when mine was done with new cases, it was just right at 8k

 

Well I almost got as lucky as Oscar. We unlded in Galvestion and reld. in Galvestion, Only had to go from one end of the port to the other end. Relded a Case Exc.. Long trip. I get to see the fine friendly folks at Keen in League City.
Whooping 30 mile trip and they paid the permit and even gave my mim. rate without me having to ask for it.
They just flat out said this price and we cover permit. Cool send the papers

 

1.3 million milskired. Thankfully it's at a local shop that rebuilds 2-3 motors a week. They know what they're doing and charge a flat rate to do it, so there is no incentive to milk it. The good news is I got a call earlier that it's John Deere season again for me and I'm booked out all next week once the truck gets out of the shop.

 

Wow 1.3 and the bull gear is still original!! Thats why I am pretty happy with my decision on this truck with a DD, even though its a 14L, its still pre EGR.

I was talking to one of the mechanics at my current job today and I am pretty happy with him volunteering to help me out with any fixing that needs done on this truck and talk to his friends around town for cheaper parts!

 

Well I got home Saturday morning. After turning a quick 1200 round into 2300. Turned out to be a swell.

I worked on my trailer Saturday Sunday Monday. I took it to a weld shop to have all the important welds that needed to be pretty. I got it back today. It's going to be sand blasted and painted tomorrow.

My OO leaves with his first load Saturday going to GA/AL

I'm going up to hook to a MO/KS with a back haul out of NE right back. Then out again

I also know where there is another step for sale with ld. ramps also..I think it's a 2012 model. low miles and been sitting now for about 9 months..

I used up all the runway but I home from SD.

Shop day tomorrow. We finally got a step deck so I have to start plumbing and wiring up the dump valves and start building the chain and strap trays for the tool box. Lots of other piddly things on trucks and trailers to do that have been being neglected because we've been so busy.

I had a great week. Looking forward to getting my paycheck!
