    The 760 is a fleet gps/e-log unit.

Don't waste the money. (On any of them, really... but the 760 would be useless to you)

IN-25 is missing from a few of the maps, it's a new road but there are places where the asphalt is old enough to Crack and fade to a grey color. There is some more new stuff along that road that's missing and really messes with routing. I know that's a bit vague.

copilot is an app downloaded onto your phone. then you download the maps. once the app is installed.

you can also purchase the software and download it onto your computer. i'd recommend saving the file to some sort of external hard drive or usb thumb drive so you have it next time. it's a one time fee so you can install and download to ANY phone or tablet you use. i just purchased it for my laptop WITHOUT the receiver. so i don't know what would happen should i need to download it again. i use my phone as a external gps transmitter for my laptop via bluetooth.

they also make a actual hand unit called PCMILER.

with truck gps's. they fail you buy a new one. i don't have to with copilot. i have it on my tablet. one phone and 2 previous phones that are no longer activated. and my laptop. i've got plenty of backups to use.

i doubt any brand has the new 89T in arizona either. as 89 south of page is closed. and who knows if it will ever be open again.

i'll wait till dallas/ft.worth finish their freeway system. if that ever happens. before i update. :biggrin_25525:

Just adding some more clarity to your post.

PC Miler is discontinued. They are a "software-only" business model now. You are correct that up until 2013, it was basically CoPilot on a 4" / 5" / 7" screen device with slightly fewer bells and whistles.

When you purchase a software download it has a "product key." That key is registered to you and allows it to work on one device at a time of the device TYPES that you bought the key for. You can transfer it to another device of the same TYPE when you get a new one (like the new phones or tablets in your example.)

There are three device types (based on operating system) for it: Windows, Android, or iOS. The purchased key does not cross over though (you can't buy an Android key and it works on an iPhone, etc.)

@snowwy - I know you know this, but I wanted to make that clearer for other possible readers about transferring CoPilot.

The TN 760 is an EOBR. It can be used for one truck up to X trucks. If you are an O/O and only have one truck and need an EOBR you can install this. It connects to the Deuche plug. The fee is for tracking and keeping of logs via a tri mode antenna. Other data parameters are stored. I have not tested one but if you need more info let me know.

Running Copilot Truck on an Android tablet works best for me since it also allows me to multitask and keep notes as overlays to the navigation. See pic below.
