Semantics. Yes, today is last day. Over today at 11:59 p.m. He said he would let us know how he did tomorrow regarding the shakedown blitz...I was informing it's not taking place tomorrow.

Well, I ran from Florida into Georgia on Monday. Then Tuesday was Georgia-Alabama-Tennessee-Kentucky. Wednesday was Kentucky-Ohio. Thursday was Ohio-Kentucky-Tennessee-Arkansas.

Only one scale that I passed was doing inspections, and that was I-65 NB entering Tennessee and I and the truck in front of me were waved through. SB into Alabama was doing an all-out side of the road hunt. Had four big trucks pulled over within a few miles of the state line near the welcome center.

Only other coop that was 'up' was a non-regular checkpoint in Arkansas west of Little Rock on I-30. WB was closed, but EB was packed full of trucks. Setup a big tent in the lot with tables, etc. Then Friday morning, the WB scale just past Prescott was open at 3am, but I got the bypass lane there. Rather early to be open.

Other than that, very uneventful for me. Though I did do a lot of non-freeway driving on my load from Georgia into Alabama the first day.

Surprised that the west bound at Hope was open with all of the construction. It has been closed since it was one lane.

I hit 2 in Alabama this week. One was a portable, and they broke it down, just as I came up to bat.
The other one was this morning, and they got the oversized load in front of me,and waved me through.
I didn't even know it was trucker ticket week til yesterday.Guess I got over again?
