yes you could do that, but I also wonder why these units were listed at the weight they were , the fact is the one chain , one binder will meet the requirements.
makes me wonder now if perhaps the shipper gave him the requirements for different units than he was loaded with.
So I was put OOS today...

Oh boy! OK...GIRLS!!! That's enough! Straighten your panties and play nice!
Honestly though, I can't see these multi-stop AC loads being worth hauling most times, especially with the higher claims rates. One little scuff and there you are shelling out an insurance deductible. Detention pay on those 6 stops? NOPE! Heck, the linehaul rate is usually garbage from the getgo.
OK, back to my beer drinking and bug zapper entertainment. -
Happens to me all the time...first thing I say is O you need a hotshot there's no risk with out a reward in my book. That 900 mile run would cost them $4,000 they don't like it I'm heading out, just like loads that I don't fell safe hauling.
I've pulled out and left many loads behind just because you've said you would move it or signed a conformation still don't mean you have to haul it! -
You should be quiet, the grownups are talking.leftlanetruckin, MJ1657, Rugerfan and 5 others Thank this.

I've dealt with Johnson Control Directly and they are real strict in how to secure their units, like no snap binders and even have a diagram in how to do it, you don't follow it you WILL loose their business. So they pay, I listen. Driver don't feel bad, some folks on here like to think they know it all and tend to forget we are a community that should help each other instead of bashing on each other (except door swinger that hate on us). We all live and learn and you wont be the last one to get it wrong.
Working Class Patriot, skellr, skateboardman and 1 other person Thank this. -
Why can't you? Leave out at 0900 Monday, run 11 plus break, stop at 2030, 10 off 0630 start up, be at receiver at around 0900 at the latest. And that's in a 65 mph truck. On elogs.fortycalglock, zenaddler, Cluck Cluck and 1 other person Thank this.

Only if you have 2.64's though....
Ruthless and skateboardman Thank this. -
I had an LS agent who thought I could drive from Long Beach, CA to El Paso Texas about 830 on the miles...P/U a "Can" from the port...Appointment at 1600 hours (Right in the middle of the afternoon rush through L.A. Metro mind you) and be in El Paso for next-day drop at 0700 hours....
He said "Guys do this all of the time".....The load paid $2.50/m when all we mainly got was $1.20/m back in '08.....
Would you risk your O/A to run that?....
Oh yeah....I asked him if any of those other drivers "Teamed It"....He said "Not a one"... -
And that's why LS Is now going all EOBRS
