Just got Samsung Galaxy S5 for wife and I, wife also has an iPad at home. What app should we get for video calling while I'm on the road? Hoping to connect with the iPad too. We tried using Hangouts on all three devices - they all send calls out, but none of them receive calls.

I use tango to communicate with my family. I can't compare it to any others because it's the only 1 I have ever used. As long as I have decent service or a good wifi connection it works fine

Yep. Skype with a decent connection. And it likes Samsung Galaxy phones. And its free.
