I don't think he deliberately stopped on the train tracks to cause a wreck. Do you know the details of the accident? Like why he was on the tracks and didn't pull away from danger? So I'm assuming he passed the drug test and they still fired him?

 

Stopping on the tracks is not an accident. That's just plain dumb. I woulda fired him too.

 

I am sitting here trying to imagine this scenario....You are blocking the tracks in order to make a left turn....You see a train bearing down on you and it validates the fact that you probably should not have made that move. I wonder if they allowed him to change his underpants before they drug tested him????
3 years or 30 years....If he actually did make this bonehead move, not only should he have been fired, he should cut his CDL in half, throw it in the trash, become a dispatcher (he is obviously good at bad decisions) and buy some stock in Depend Undergarments....Just sayin'

 

Ths story I read stated that he parked the truck on the tracks while he went into a business to ask for directions.

 

Same thing happened here in pa a conway driver was lost so he decided to stop on the rr tracks and walk to a local business and ask for directions sure enough train comes and splits trailer in half driver was arrested and charged.

 

What was he charged with?

You Must be talking about KNB reefer company The KNB I Know don't have company drivers or trucks of their own where is this company out of city/state ?
