Yes, I am standing on your shoulders for this. I am still working out the power install for the AC. I am hoping to be able to wire the AC in through the same wiring as my shore power so I can just run the power cable in through the same outlet

I drilled one hole in the floor under the bunk. Passenger side, rear corner.
I ran 2 wires through some metal conduit, which goes into the hole and is then sealed.
1 wire goes up to the Xantrex inverter/charger and a GFI socket.
The other goes to a 20 amp breaker mounted under the bunk, then onto the rooftop unit.
Make a jumper lead for the AC plug too, to go from that AC plug to a normal household socket. That way you can just plug it in when at home, using the jumper lead you made.
If you need pics, let me know.

For me I have about a half a dozen regular outlets already in my sleeper that run off my xantrex invertor, but I also have a transfer switch for those outlets which switches from the inverter to shore power when available.

If I can't run the AC through that setup then I will wire a direct setup with breaker to the back of the cab just above the generator and then run a separate one the shore power outlet.

Did you you do the heat strip in your AC ?

The AC needs it's own power supply, from the larger of the receptacles on the generator. Otherwise it is sharing the power with other things and it wont want to kick on the compressor etc.
I had a heat strip in my last one, but they are NOT controlled by a thermostat, so will just keep heating and heating. Useless.
This one doesnt have the heat strip in it, waste of money.

The larger receptacle on its own, on the right, is for the AC.

I was going to order the heat strip, but may rethink that.
