Parked Here for the Night

Well learned something new in my first trip back to the city for the calender year of 2014. DON'T TAKE EASY PASS THROUGH THE CASH LANES. Thought they was going to give me a ticket but they just made me go all the way around and come back. Uk just looked at my fuel mileage. 7.5. Unacceptable. Oh wow I can't believe my drive cam didn't activate on these NYC roads. Anyway sit here till in the morning and get these ox tails off. Guess I'll take a walk around the neighborhood. Got a can of Whip tail that is begging to be opened.

 

All I wanna know is why I can never sleep more then 5 or 6 hrs ?

Dinomite , I hear ya on those NYC roads. Smh they really need to fix those roads , but I guess why fix roads in a city that is so busted . Lol

I had a nice trip up through there the other day on my way out to the Island. I dont know about walking around NYC , but if I had the chance I would have liked to troll around long island for the day it really not a bad place over there. Depending on what neighbor hood your in tho.

 

I'm lucky if I can get this truck to get 7.5.

Woke up a little sweaty this morning... It was maybe 90F inside truck... I didn't have the A/C on...
There was a nice breeze outside, so I opened all the windows and did my cooking inside truck... Walked around truck stop parking lot about 3 times and got some nice pink color on my cheeks and shoulders... Had a delicious meal in the truck, took a very refreshing shower, washed a few light clothes in the sink, hang them to dry and very soon they were all dry.
Now I'm inside quiet corner in the truck stop where I can plug all my electronics.... But had to put my sweater on cause it's a little cold here... well, for me it is...
Will still be here tomorrow cause this delivery event will happen on Tuesday, about 30 miles from here. Tomorrow will call folks in charge and see if I can park at their location Monday night... But it seems there will be no place... other than the narrow residential streets nearby... There's another truck from my co. going to this same event... Shall see...

 

I stopped at a Walmart before I got here and did my shopping... My cooler is filled with fresh fruits and yogurt, vegetables, milk, cheese... There's nothing at this Denny's that I would eat...

 

Pretty boring, routine day. As I tell my GF when she asks how my day went I say "if it's boring that's a good thing". Jim's Truckstop in Buffalo. Will be hanging till tomorrow evening till appt time then will do the night shift picking up a d&h and doing a 2 stopper ending in Athens Ga
