I know my garmin has logging , but the 760 rand . Now correct me if I am wrong , but the way I read it sounds like it almost serves as a Qualcomm for logging purposes.

I am pretty sure if DOT says let me see your logs and I hand him my 560dezl out the window and say here ya go .
His next step is gonna be pulling out a fresh ticket pad and a brand new pen to start writing. :biggrin_25526:

The 760 is a Certified EOBR. Logs can be printed or pulled from the server just like any other EOBR.

The rand McNally servers I would have to guess since it's their unit.

So assuming that it is, then the unit is just like the Qualcomm unit and not a standalone which it could be.

Wow...I was in a TA truck stop today using the internet and over heard a few fellow drivers checking out the different navigation units. Walked over to them and said "sure wish they had a tablet with navigation built for truckers." A few said they would like that and a few said they would like to see how's it would stack up against RM and Cobra. Well I popped out the Truckers Tablet GPS and gave them a demonstration. I now have about 5 drivers going to order the tablet.

Creepy because I gave them a better option then those other navigation only units? Lets see it in another way. More then likely you have a smart phone? Did you buy it just for the phone calling or did you buy it because of the multi things it can do? Why buy a unit that does one thing when you can get one that does so much more?
