I have a 2012 Pete 386. Mine doesn't do it all the time but it is annoying when it does. I haven't found anything that works to stop it. I've just learned to live with it.

It probably resonates from the steers on up. So if you have any problems there I would fix it. You would feel it in the steering wheel.
I have seen a fix on F150s that have the same issue. On that one the glass mirror has clips where it hangs on the mount behind it. You take the glass off and put double sided foam tape behind it at the four corners and then clip the glass back on. It cushions any slack in the mount. You might get lucky and it be similar. All you have to do is figure out how to take it apart.
Either the back cover comes off or raise the mirror all the way up where the bottom sticks out and there is a catch behind it you can reach with a screw driver. -
You could also stick a weight to the back side of the mirror. A lot of motorcycle mirrors are like that. You can tell a difference between OEM mirrors and the cheap aftermarket ones by how much they vibrate.
That might just be masking the problem though. Check the steering like CondoCruiser said. -
I had this problem with a 379 pete at tmc. I found raising the rpm just a little gets rid of the shakes. This was with a cat motor. Backing, you could hit the throttle just a little and not go any faster but have clearer mirrors.

Get your dealer to make sure your ride height is set correctly, then get them to do the driveline angles and runout on your yokes, they should provide you with a print out sheet with these on.
