    Hey Soule man,
    finished orientation yesterday evening :)
We did the second half of our securement training (I'm in flats, van finished on Thursday which normally would if been Wednesday but this week was off a day due to holiday on Monday) and then we got our trucks late that evening to do our inspections. After you signed off on your truck, we got our securement equipment to load in the truck.

Overall I'm very pleased with the company... They went above and beyond to make sure you felt at home. I didn't spend a dime of my money the whole week, they covered everything!
Most of the flatbed guys were going to be stuck here to Monday to get a load out so they gave $20 a day to eat with and a movie ticket and put us up in a hotel which they were well could have said you have your trucks now, you can stay in those.
For a big company, they do have a family atmosphere which is rare for an operation this big.

    Soule_Man Thanks this.

Keep up with the updates. I am interested in ATS but on the heavy haul side. I have 23 years driving experience with the last 7 years experience with a 2+3+2. Looking for another heavy haul company because I am as far as I can go (as the load size) with my current company. If anyone else has suggestions for this company or another, please let me know through here or DM me please.

Hey Boethel, sorry but I so green to this company and flatbed in general that I wouldn't be much help info wise... maybe someone reading this thread can chime in on heavy haul. According to their website, they are offering a 10k sign on bonus for HH, that's about all I know... that and that most of those guys come with their own truck or go company, not lease.

Well I completed my first week with ATS and so far so good :D
I was very sore the first part of week, but that's normal when you haven't been physically active to that degree in a long time. I didn't have a truck note this week so expecting a nice check off 2 loads. I only ran about 1700 miles and if I did have a note, I still would have cleared about 1100 so not too bad for just 2 loads. I'm on a load now headed to Laredo that doesn't delv til Tuesday so it will be the first load on next weeks check.

I'm planning some comfort upgrades over the next few weeks so I will be sure to post pictures... 32in flat screen, 1000w theater system, and building a cabinet to hold my fridge, microwave, and computer tower.

    Boethel Thanks this.

My first sergeants wife is a recruiter there. I have been interested, but the whole 3 weeks out at a time while "owning" your own truck seems ridiculous.

Hey guys sorry for the delay on updates, still settling in.
As for the company... I have no complaints or regrets! I'm averaging about $1500 a week on 2 loads a week and around 2000 miles give or take a couple hundred.
I had one truck issue so far, my interior dome lights, bunk AC, back utility lights, and the constant 12volt outlets stopped working. I thought it was the low voltage disconnect since it happened over the weekend while the truck was parked. Long story short, after changing all the batteries, found there was no power for those fuses on the fuse panel and was planning to take it to the dealership before my 30 day bumper to bumper was up but I hit the right bump in the road and it all came back on so I'm still running...
As for the out for 3 weeks, well that's more so for a company driver as you know as a lease op you can go home whenever you please. They won't you to make money and you can't make money sitting at home so that's why they say that. The FMs are paid on incentive so if you not making money neither are they. I live in central Arkansas and I was home the first three weekends under a load. I took a 10 at the house last Wednesday and I spent my first weekend away from home this past weekend. I picked up a load today in PA that's due in TX on Monday so I'm headed home again under a load so really not considered home time or requested time off.

If you guys have any questions, let me know and I will do my best to answer or get the answer for you.

The fleet managers are paid a salary. They also have a revenue goal they want them to make each quarter as well
They make the goal and they get a bonus.. Please get the facts straight..
Also the first week or is it two they do not take out your trk. payments.
Then the payments start. The first of the month you will have your insurance coming out also..
