    1. Install a speed setting. My 760 figures eta by speed limit.
    2. Warn me about upcoming tolls.
    3. Add current city to the navigation screen. 90% of the time the where am I now gives me long and lat coordinates.
    4. Put a power plug on the gps itself. I don't use the stand.

Dunno what kind of Rand McNally you use, but mine figures ETA by average speed.

I know. If their 7 inch screen had voice command, I would have that mounted to my dash.

I wouldn't be so anxious to switch, mine has a nasty habit of telling me to get off the interstate just to get back on the same interstate/same direction .2 miles down the road. Annoying.

I have the same complaint as Cetane, just did what Ozark posted and it shows the truck stops along my route, but I only have it routing me another 56 miles for now. If this works I will be very happy with it, as I was about ready to retire the Garmin to my pickup and get another Rand for the truck.

On another note, is there a better way to get it to route you on certain roads? I haul oversize loads and am permitted almost 100% of the time. I like to get my routes put into it, but the only way that I have found is to touch the map and then zoom into all of the highway intersections that I need to turn on, and then touch there to get it to route to there. With the routing that some of these states give, doing this can be very time consuming, and I normally don't have the patients to deal with it.

It's nice that when it shows a stop along the route it gives actual mileage and not air miles.

The only GPS program that lets you chose what roads to run is copilot on a tablet or PC, that I know of.

When my Dezl won't route me the way I want to go, I pick a poi along the route that I want and put it in as a way point. The Dezl will generally route me with the route I want after that

Do you use the co-pilot app? Do you like it? Is it worth the money?
