Went up to stratham New Hampshire this am to kick off the load of super sacked sand. Could hear a hiss thru the trailer valve. Sure enough got to my stop and found one of my chambers s'd the bed. Caged it. Went n got fuel, started leaking again so stopped at Utility in Seabrook nh got it swapped. Ran down to Rhode Island n kicked off the two partials I brought up. Got stuck for the night: have a load out of mass going 3 miles from the house, bc of the lost time on the chamber I missed grabbing it today :( Pringles and a sandwich are not the dinner I was looking forward to.
Life is good, keep on trucking

No she still kinda has bad feelings about high lds. Me, I'm still a little gun shy on them...

Funny thing was when the local office called me about it, first thing I asked is who has done the rte. survey and do you have a bucket trk. lined up? She did not have the answers on that. Now you would think that when you call a driver about a ld. this size they would allready have the answers for those questions. But then you have so called H.H. guys who will not ask those questions.

You need to get a small fridge and mico wave for the trk. Then you can have a hot sandwich..

That is true, but he will get old someday..... and I have to average like 550 miles a day.

Hope I can find a really good paying load from there. I am leaving an axle at home this trip

Yes . There was a broker looking for trucks to go to MB but I need to get under 75'. The only way I can get there is to flip my 7th and leave my 8th at home.

Chances are when I get there I will need it but without the spreader IL screws me because they won't give any weight for a closed 4 and if I bring my spreader I need escorts in a bunch of the states back there.

My comment was referring to Martin's saying that O/O out there are not allowed to have pets in there trucks be a use of rules where they are leased on at, not leasing a truck from.
My knowledge of the owner op side of this industry is minimal yet IMO enough to get me started as an owner op soon here.

Been at this job for a little over a year now. Left my fun job at TMC on there specialized fleet, worked there for 2.5 years. Took the job because it was offered, great pay and home everyday and i had no idea that the financial state of the company was as bad as it is. If I knew that I'd still be driving a company truck at TMC. This job is everything but door slamming, it's an old company so we don't have laborers for chipping trucks or an operator for the machines around the yard so we do it all. Fix our trucks, run loaders, mixers, dumps, do plant maintenance, chip our own trucks, all sorts of stuff. It's just not my cup of tea though, enjoyed the OTR and open deck work.
