    LOL.

I know I gained 10 lbs from going with you to Famos Daves. Must've been the garbage can lid, huh.
And yet I can hardly wait till we go back.

    Hey Skateboard...
Wow, i'm embarrassed.. I found this thread only from cootr8 after you lite the guy up on another thread.
You haven't posted a lot lately on this one about how freight's rollin for you.. I found the info yourself and flatbed22 posting of the revenue the two of you were doing answers a lot of questions about what a guy can do over there at the blue n white.
And for anyone on here on Mercer that can see the company load board, would a 53' make sense or no..

I apologize for not being active on here. I took a break from posting for a bit. I have been answering questions in private message though. I'm always happy to give my take.

A 53' flat? If so, I think you be just fine. We do get 53' flat only freight requests from time to time and they do pay extra for it.

I'll post my week of revenue tomorrow. Bedtime now.

    Battle Born Thanks this.

You need your own, or you can lease to own one from Mercer.

OK I'm posting my recent week. My week before was just as good. The numbers reflect my 75% of the line haul plus 100% FSC and any other pay like tarp if any. In other words the pay shown is all to the truck, Mercer's end is already taken out.

    SC to NJ 21760lbs no tarp, 101 Mile Bounce 712 paid miles @ $3.02 p/mile paying $2164.22
    MD to IL 11720lbs no tarp, 150 mile bounce 840 paid miles @ $2.08 p/mile paying $1749.07
    IL to NY(LI) 18502lbs no tarp, 145 mile bounce 1095 paid miles @ $2.72 p/mile paying $2978.70
NY(LI) to NY 19512lbs no tarp, 10 mile bounce 152 paid miles @ $6.10 p/mile paying $927.47 delivered same day

Total $7819.46 to the truck. Average fuel price paid 3.55 I got 7.44 mpg average. That's a manual MPG check not dashboard.

All loads are legal and nothing special at all. Oh and tolls. I paid out only $85.00 in tolls.

I still love it here at Mercer. I keep my nose clean logs clean inspections clean and nobody bothers me.

My goal every week is to gross 5k to the truck and I do it effortlessly. I've become picky only to which agents I won't haul for because some are better than others. It's a short list and please don't ask because I won't tell and besides you might like'em.

Wow!! This is the sort of info that's really helpful in making a decision about a carrier.
I'm pulling tank and I can't touch those numbers... Just waiting on former carriers to get back to Mercer...
How long does it usually take from submitting an application to the green light... it's been over a week now.

I live right outside Memphis, TN. Can anyone tell me how the freight with Mercer is in and out of this area please? If I were to sign on with Mercer would I be able to get in and out of the house pretty regular living here?
