I remember a 14 yr. old Mexican-American from Texas was caught in the USMC in Vietnam; falsified his birth certificate. I read about this in Navy Times newspaper.

Wicked Wizard: I am getting a associates degree in liberal arts with a concentration in accounting. I am not really the office type of person though, I just wanted to burn my GI Bill before it expired.

Lol, bad place to go on vacation in my opinion.
I understand that I will be at the bottom of the barrel and I don't mind. I really just want to provide for my family and I know that in time if I stay out of trouble I can get enough experience to move up the ladder in the trucking world so I can provide even better for my family.

Vietnam now is a neat place to vist. They do like the US dollar vereus their dollar.
You can party there, but kinda low key.. The food also has a mix of French taste as the French were there before we were and it has mixed into their style of cooking. a good cup of true Veitnam coffee is really great. Beats Starsucks in a heart beatseamallowance and Chinatown Thank this. -
A friend of mine bought a condo on the beach somewhere in Vietnam & keeps a couple of hotties living with him at all times. Finally, he just retired, sold his truck, and moved there full time.

Get the tanker/hazmat endorsements, TWIC, Passport, and go to tankers when you can. You will make good money there and no problem taking care of your family.

These companies consider a long gap as 3 to 5 years & sometimes 7 years.
