Those comments sound so much like something I could say. I totally understand how a few little things can add up and give us those kind of thoughts. I often dread going into GP myself. It was really bad before I got my personal vehicle there. Now I can just hop in my pickup and get away from there for a little while. However, there are often times I already have a new outbound load before getting to the yard and I just want to get in and out and it doesn't happen. You just never know what kind of little crap someone's going to want. Never understand why some things can't be communicated to us before we hit the inbound gate. I could list tons of examples but I'm sure you and many others can relate. Not living close to GP makes a lot of that stuff much more difficult to deal with. Anyways, thanks for sharing a few more thoughts and keeping it real on here. I keep hoping one day some of that stuff will get better. Until then I just try to get past it without letting it consume me so much. Hopefully it does get better for both of us. At least now I know it's not just me dreading that kind of stuff. Take care out there! :)

I picked up a Pol Tex load yesterday and brought it here to GP. Got a load for tomorrow going to Minersville, PA. I understand what you guys are talking about. Heard from a few people here that there was 35 trucks in line for the shop. That is just crazy.

I'm officially on at Poly , roll out Friday headed to the house.

Hopefully it going to work out , it's my one in a million chance to move up and out of the world of 500.00 ( or less ) a week slave trucking for a reefer company.

I must say , Poly is a very very difficult place to get hired at , probably would have been easier to get the launch codes from Norad.

Glad it's behind me , first load to the house to get my stuff , then set up on a back haul.
Goods news is I can run east , dodge the tolls and still get paid the off the hub.
We were scoping out some toll free routes on the map today up into NE.
DSP showed me the load sheets , the miles are there , no doubt about that.

    :biggrin_25519:

( it's worth noting , an employee must stay out of trouble at Poly , they are strict . No tearing up the equipment , no late drops , gotta keep the nose clean around here , they come down on you hard if you screw up . A driver could hit the point limit in a hurry if they are not on the ball )

    Thanks ,

I been on a trouble free streak for 6 years , going to continue to do my best to keep it rolling.

Well Drivers.. After 3 months of not hearing anything from Poly except "we're still currently processing your application" I accepted a position at another Private fleet company (furniture) I start Monday. No touch freight, Will have a 2015 KW T680, governed @ 75mph, hub miles, same cpm as Poly.. No NE, no NW and only occasional runs to WI. almost exclusively I-40 and south. And home to Phoenix weekly. The negative is that it's a Team position and I've been trying to get away from that.. But I just couldn't tolerate my former employer any longer, and it seemed like I wasn't getting anywhere with Poly, so I took the leap. Of Course, now that I'm committed, Murphy would say that I can be expecting a call from Poly very soon! Good luck and Safe Roads to y'all!!
