Here is the Big Don update

Deb (Significance for you newbies) and I were headed down to Folsom for some shopping when Don called. It was great to hear him, however he is NOT "doing fine"! Since we last heard from him, he has been back and forth to the cardiologist, and each time (except once) his heart will not retain a regular rhythm. He is continually battling what is called "atrial fibrillation":
What Is Atrial Fibrillation?
Atrial fibrillation (A-tre-al fi-bri-LA-shun), or AF, is the most common type ofarrhythmia (ah-RITH-me-ah). An arrhythmia is a problem with the rate or rhythm of the heartbeat. During an arrhythmia, the heart can beat too fast, too slow, or with an irregular rhythm. AF occurs if rapid, disorganized electrical signals cause the heart's two upper chamberscalled the atria (AY-tree-uh)to fibrillate. The term "fibrillate" means to contract very fast and irregularly. In AF, blood pools in the atria. It isn't pumped completely into the heart's two lower chambers, called the ventricles (VEN-trih-kuls). As a result, the heart's upper and lower chambers don't work together as they should.
People who have AF may not feel symptoms. However, even when AF isn't noticed, it can increase the risk of stroke. In some people, AF can cause chest pain or heart failure, especially if the heart rhythm is very rapid.AF may happen rarely or every now and then, or it may become an ongoing or long-term heart problem that lasts for years.

Don told us, his doctor(s) have him on 27 different medications, and nothing seems to be cleaning up the problem. I told him to get his list of meds and send/take them down to his preferred Pharmacist and let the Pharmacist have a chance of clearing any problems with what easily could be a couple (or more) of the meds countering or even worse causing some/all of the problems. He said he would ASAP, and he hadn't even thought of that since he does trust his doctors completely.
He said to say HELLO to everyone and to thank them all for their concern. Also thank you for all your prayers.

HAHA....
Truck was washed that same day for the unloading "event"... and I ran only 30 miles from truck wash to the location...
Yesterday my truck and the other co. truck were unloaded... After that, we "staged" there for a few more hrs for pictures and stuff as we were supposed to. Then, DSP gave me load to pick up at a harbor in Cape Canaveral.... so I did... it was a busy day yesterday...
Today ran all day and went thru some delays due to several flash floods, road construction, lots of lights, stop and go traffic...
Anyway, now I am parked at a rest area in AR... will deliver tomorrow in OK and then broker & dsp may have something for me to pick up nearby and head to co. terminal for truck pm...

If you can make ends meet ride it out. I jumped shipped from my first job after 7 months for similar reasons and the grass did not end up greener and I ended up screwing myself out of better jobs if I would have just stuck it out. Obviously I don't know your situation and hope it all works outtangerineGT Thanks this.

Okay , I am really getting some good entertainment sitting here .
now I do not want offend anyone , but there are some real genius people out here.
I watched a guy trying to slide the 5th wheel for about 10 mins , so I go over to maybe give him some pointers. At first glance I felt bad to tell him it works better if you release the 5th wheel pins. Lol
The second guy trying to slide tandems , and still had air supplied to his trailer . I mean come on . I am not saying I am the best , but if I can see why its not working from 15 ft away something is wrong.
Ehh oh well . I did tell both of those guys and offer help tho , so my civil duty is done for the day -
sitting for a few in Sidney guess that is almost Cheyenne tooLady K Thanks this.
