I have over 21 years experience.Reefer, Van, Flat,Drop, Double Drop, Hopper Bottom Grain, Bulk Pneumatic Oil Field, Machinery Transport Rail Road.
I have Haz-Mat endorsement as well as TWIC card. All related safety equipment for chemical plant entrance. Past Haz-Wop training as well as extensive Haz-Mat training for chemical transport. The majority of my trucking jobs have been for O'O's, irregular freight , irregular lanes. I have extensive knowledge of broker practices, and have enjoyed numerous positive relationships with brokers in all aspects of trucking freight.
Alright! Enough of the professional resume lingo. Nitty Gritty. I AM a Professional truck driver. I know what it takes to get a load delivered safely and on time. And I am very proud of my on time performance. I expect a lot from myself. I also expect a lot from my boss. And I have worked for the best and I have worked for the worst. I am loyal to a fault. I have been ripped off, lied to,deceived, and treated with total disrespect. I have also been treated with love, kindness, understanding, and respect. I miss those men. I am looking for that O/O that understands trucking. That needs a good hand that he can trust to not only care for his equipment but his bottom line. Ie: Tolls, idling, maintenance, proper record keeping,etc...
My needs are simple. Good equipment, decent pay on time and in full, no excuses. Have my back when the shipper or receiver start walking all over my log book. (The quicker I unload the quicker I reload the more money we make.)
I have two dogs. They are trucking dogs. My Soto protects the truck when I'm out of cab, and Sparky.. Ol' Sparky, his day's are numbered. He's been driving with me since he was 8 months old and he is now 18 years old. But he is still a pretty good lot lizard radar.
I maintain the interior of my cab very well and do pay out of my own pocket for full cab detail on a regular basis.
Things I will not do.
Drive anywhere in California.
Fingerprint a load
Tarp anything
I have friends and family scattered all across America and try to plan my restarts in their "neighborhood".
I am a tumbleweed and make no excuses for my lifestyle. I just want to drive and live life to the fullest. I work hard and play harder. Treat me right and you will have one loyal "dog"
I am employed and I really like the guy. But he owes me way to much money. I can understand broker problems, factoring delays, etc..
But when I'm out here busting my ### and I can't pay my bills which are minimal, I have to look for another gig.
So here I am. Any questions reply to this post and I will send you my cell number.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
