30 Off Duty requirement question

you know, they was talking on the radio about the 10 we use.

no one even thinks about how much time we waste trying to get a shower and what not. on our 10.

bad enough just trying to get fuel sometimes. specially at loves. where no one pulls their trucks forward.

 

Lol, I suppose I would need to a portable cam while in hotels too.

We joke, but it wouldn't suprprise me if they tried it.

 

Uh, yeah, there were plenty of people being killed by exhausted truckers. Why do you think a law got made in the first place??

 

Yeah, that's why 10 hours for off time boggles my mind. It's like the truckers they did listen to never showered, never sat down to eat, never pooped, and smelled like dumpsters on pickup day. Hygiene takes time, too.

 

I'm sure some company will try it...

 

If you can't sleep, eat, sheet, shower and shave in 10 hours, you're doing it wrong.

 

Shoot if you can't do all but sleep in 2 your doing something wrong

 

If "being clean and rested" is wrong, then something's wrong with those that smell like dumpsters for making people think it's normal...

 

Just saying I take care of what needs done and out. 2hrs for all including eating is not unreasonable. No need for an hour in the shower. Shoot even at an hour inthe shower pooping and shaving still leaves an hour to eat

 

Some people have no concern about the 5 people wait on them to get done but its normal to be jack... takeing 30min break on the fuel island 2+hrs in the showers I see your one of them. I get done get out so others can use it and so I can get that sleep.
