    So check this crap out. One of my employers from 2009, Hawkeye Food Service, got bought out and closed by US Foods. Well conways hiring and background place called me wanting me to verify someway that I worked there, even asking for a w2 or pay stubs. I don't have that crap laying around anywhere. They were even like, "do you have an old bosses phone number" lol. WTF.

    To the OP - completely none of my business, but if you're that close to your degree, why wouldn't you stay where you're at and finish your education? Good luck in your endeavors, no matter what you choose.

    I am in the same boat as Granny. Ran linehaul while taking a full time load. Toughest thing I've ever done thats for sure. I'll be done in December. its rough going.

    Do anybody know about Conway's Lumberton, NC terminal? I believe is the closest to me. Im really interested in driving for them but I've been reading alot of negative posts. Appreciate the 411.

    That is a perfectly acceptable question, Thank you for asking. I am going to finish but my problem with my current company is how they're pushing company drivers out the door to favor outside carriers for the cost. I understand completely from a business standpoint but when you have 170 drivers it's kind of hard to not be company driver oriented LOL. At my current job, which is why I'm going back to school in the first place, I created and ran the safety department for my company. So that's why I'm even in school in the first place was because I have help previous leadership positions plus the one that I help with now in the past. I plan on being trans manager operations manager or personnel director somewhere or sometime lol.

    It's none of my business or going to preach.
    Always save pay stubs and for the employers that only use online pay stubs print them out in the future.

    Had a employer not so long would not vouch for me as a employee ( experience ). They didn't keep accurate records. I was paid on time and no check ever bounced.
    The owner was playing games and didn't want me to move on with life. Out came the pay stubs, Future employer granted me acceptance.


    Since this is a CWF thread, Won't name the 2 LTL employers.

    It's cool man I put my personal life on a form on the Internet so I totally expected to be everybody's business now LOL. That being said I never ever expect something like this to happen where I would need a verification of a company that I work for the doesn't exist anymore LOL. In any event either way I'll keep y'all updated here in the next couple days later when i know what's going on.

    I'm really curious, With out my pay stubs, I'd be screwed. It would be a learning thread, Now you know to save everything.

    Without sarcasm, I'm interested on how this turns out and if others have ways to vouch for employment ( experience )

    Lol you will probably want to quit after you break some of the Hagerstown pups we load up at night out in aurora. But I feel the same way when I get a breaker out of Hagerstown or Milton
