Well the wife and I spent yesterday at MATS. Ordered some new goodies for the truck and even got my name called for a cash grab (got $52) and also won a set of steer tires from TA booth.

Left ft this morning and spending the rest of the week with family here in Ohio. Booked some short local moves for next week.

    Just enjoying life

This is a quote from you back in March!!

If you won'em ya better go get 'em!!!

If you paid to have shocks put on, those joints are definite worth paying to have done.

Well we ened up doing a short hopper from Houston to Sabine Pass. La. Only problem wes it took a day and a half to do it.
Us and one of the Houston trks. get to the port. We check in and they say it will be after lunch. Ok. measure the lds. Stretch the trls. and move my junk out of the way.
Well lunch time comes and goes. At 5pm lady on golf cart stops and ask, You waiting on the boat?
No waiting for crane to ld. us. Oh crap. Well we got lded. by 6 pm.
Get permit and leave at 9 am. Get to the jobsite at 11:30. Well it seems like they did'nt know where they want to store these units at.
Then can you turn around here? Nope not going to happen. So we back up 3/4 of a mile and back onto the hwy. and go to the other gate back to the west 1 mile.
    Finally got mty. by 5pm
Then the a/c craps out on us.. I really wish Freightliner built a good system.
So I spent today in the shop and 1097.00 fixing that.
Thought we had aExc. lined up to ld. but found out it has a bucket with it.
Not enough for me to grab the stinger.
Thought we were stuck with no ld.
Then got a call from the local term. asking if we want to do another one for them. For the money, yes we will.

Guess I passed the test with them and not being a local Houston trk. and being an outside term. guy.

Yes it does. The phone rang like right at 3:30 today. I have a feeling they talked with the other hand. He was real nice to us and helpfull with the coming out of the port at the back gate. Raise the trl. all the way or you will high center.
One of their guys hung up Thurs. afternoon and had it all plugged up I heard. But in his defense he had a mech. and I do not know if he shimmed the neck or not or raised the air in the trl.
We helped him tie down his ld. after we got done Wens. The lift lugs you could not reach from the ground.
Me I got my blocks out and stood on them.
He said how did you get them on there? I said Redneck step ladder.. He's like huh?
I then got on his rear wheel and saw some broke tarp straps. Asked him hand me those broke straps. Hooked them together and looped over the lug. He then hooked the chain on it and I pulled them over for him.
He said I never thought of that. I said I'm to lazy to get my blocks and wanted to see if that would work first and laughed.
