    They prefer the flat top or midroofs because of that. I would like to get a flat top myself, but the wife hates them and I would never hear the end of it.

    It's days like this I am glad I get paid milage! I had to deadhead a total of 400 miles so far to pick up this load tomorrow morning. It goes 900 miles to Tulsa, and then I will deadhead an additional 420 miles to Houston. I get paid the full amount for all the D/H miles getting me an additional 800 paid miles vs. % based pay.

    But it gets me paid! I will have about 3,100 miles for the week when I get to Houston on Monday. Should gross about $4,900 for the week.
