Once upon a time I worked for JBH intermodal in Stockton/Modesto California. Best job I ever had. Enough said.

I run regional intermodal for Schneider out of Charlotte. I work M-F, on average I spend two nights a week in the truck, and I'm on track to make $62k this year.

I am looking into Atlanta local, dedicated, regional jobs. I have spoke to JB Hunt. Intermodal looks interesting. How is Atlanta?

Plenty of work! I know several of those guys and there are few complaints from the level-headed guys.
pasmurf Thanks this. -
I don't directly haul loads for JB, but they have too much freight. It's steady flow of work for just about everyone.

After traveling the I 40 west to s CA. I saw a couple trains with the largest percentage having Jb Hunt "intermodal " markings. Orange Schneider intermodal wasn't as large. Just anecdotal observation from 3 days driving.
I didn't think JB Hunt hires fresh from Cdl school. -
I have the opposite experience. I'm currently going to trucking school in Charlotte NC and I drive by a drop yard on my way. Here it's mostly Schneider followed by CSX but I do see plenty of JB Hunt.
