I doubt there are any points associated with 4mph over in Ohio. On the handy dandy fine sheet the nice state patrol lady gave me last week there were three degrees of speeding, 0-9 over, 10-15 (maybe 19?) over, and then >15 (again, maybe 19) over. The middle one, 10-whatever is 2 points, so there isn't much below that, unless they give you 1 point. I'm new to the whole getting a ticket thing so I don't really understand how points are awarded.
Speeding ticket for 4 mph over?

I am from Ohio and that is the only state I will not speed in. I used to drive home when I was stationed in South Carolina and would speed in my car until I hit the Ohio boarder on I-77 and then I would set cruise control at the speed limit. Ohio Highway Patrol does not mess around.
gpsman and TypicalLowLife Thank this. -

When I applied to many companies after school the majority if not all of them said they would hire me.
Most of them stated as long as not more than 2-3 moving violations with 3-5 years you were good. Like these guys stated, do not worry unless you have been getting a ticket every year/multiple tickets a year. -
If it helps your feelings any, i got one the other week in LA for 18mph over.
