I had the pleasure of working for the Flying A back in the early 80's they run hard, and I gained a huge amount of city driving experience. I found them to always be understanding of a drivers needs and I am surprised to see this review.... Toots was running things back then, and his son David was off in College, I respected David but thought him to be less understanding as his father. maybe things have changed with him in charge, but I will always have the highest regard for this company...they set me on the path to getting over 3 million safe miles and the only thing I have ever hit in my career was in the palm city terminal when I was trying to "get behind" my trailer...it was my first week on the job, and the first time I had pulled a 48' reefer... I wish you hubby the best of luck, there are a lot of great paying jobs hauling oranges and dirt in that area... plus he can be home every night! ~B~ 20110426_083645_Android.jpg

    RangeRider,
Did you ever go to work for Armellini? My husband is considering them. He has his CDL for 2 years now, but does not have experience, so he had to go to school again and is now finishing SAGE Truck driving school, and thinking about working for Armellini, because it is close to home. Was wondering what your opinion of them was?
    Thank you.
    Linda
