$156,000 a year even at US xpress that's far-fetched for even teams there.. Besides US xpress recruiting along with the whole company make lying an artwork

I think it's funny that they offer relocation assistance instead of just advertising the job in that locality! Could it be that they want out-of-towners so they don't know that those kind of wage projections are ridiculous for the area, or that the area has a very high cost of living, or is a terrible place to live?

And, maybe they want to bring people in, instead of hiring locally so that people don't have the opportunity to talk to current drivers at the terminal and confirm the advertised wages and position are $##$%$... or see the equiptment is garbage.... or confirm a high turn-over rate at the company... or meet the terminal managers and dispatchers (who might be jerks)....

Or, maybe it has something to do with wanting to import people into a strange area to isolate them from supportive friends and family should the job not work out. It's much harder to leave a job in a strange town if you have nowhere to go and don't know anybody.

Oh... there are so many reasons a company would want to import a work force rather than hire locally.... and I don't think any of those reasons are good.
