how much is the pay and do you hire drivers in other states,as i live on the east cost
-
Honestly the pay depends on experience. If your an experience driver, basically we'll have a Lead-Driver show you the routes.
I have a newbie head out today with a Lead-Driver and will probably pay him $600.00 and if he does a good job. The Lead-Driver will probably give him an extra $200.00/ If you're a driver that knocks down 650 miles a day and know what your doing $1000.00 a trip. (trip would be 7 days max)
We have hired drivers from out of states before. -
Interesting name for a trucking company.
Stormdriven Thanks this. -
lead driver? is this a team driving job? im looking for something thats goes coast to coast, can do 34hr reset on eather coast
-
what is the minimum experience that you will take?
-
So it kinda pays 500.00 each way?
Do you take out for taxes? have health insurance/ vacation time/ layover pay/ breakdown pay/ do you pay the driver for unloading??? -
Bob, most of our loads are Refer (produce). Its pretty much a rush load. Passingthru, our drivers are 1099 and the pays are actually higher then that for experienced driver.
We have no break-down pays but yes on Lay-Over Pays...$50.00 a day.I think 1 year experience's pretty much the minimum. We are really having hard time finding good drivers that wants to run. I'm making $1200.00 a trip and hoping I could find some more drivers to help out with this company. There's my phone number, call me... (Pacific Time Please) -
I'm still looking for drivers... If anyone interested, called (714)746-9654 "John"
Location Riverside,CA -
Hi John:
We spoke on the phone a few days ago. I just graduated from your alma mater California Career School.
Sounds like it would be team driving to get the food to its destination quick, is that correct?Last edited: Jul 6, 2014
