Cambridge ct? Where's that at?

im riding around trailer truckin wood products today. Ct to mass, mass to ct, ct to ny. Short, easy loads.

 

Parked under a shade tree in Hesston Kansas. What Southerners call a Combine, we call it a Swather.

The reason I'm sharing that bit of information? I noticed the local high school mascot is the Hesston Swathers. Kind of interesting-- like if you were a high school in Michigan and were called the Buick Regals.

 

near Minneapolis, got a little sumthin from here to Spencer, IA and a little sumthin to reload there to Terre Haute, IN tomorrow.

 

Looks like I'm not loading till Wednesday morning and then going to panhandle of Texas instead, about 165 miles from OKC for a Friday delivery. They are paying me for detention and the load pays a lot better than the Houston one, so I'll be stuck here in SLC till Wednesday morning if you happen to be coming by.

This is truck parked by me yesterday at the TA and I was very glad he's taking it to California and I'm not driving behind him.

He had 2 trucks piggy back on his tractor. The one in the pic was an ex-Prime mess. Guy said he hauls them to CA and they get exported. I wouldn't want that job, I'd go crazy worrying that I was gonna loose a part.

A swather cuts hay or some small grain crops and puts them into windrows. Combines harvest corn, beans, or wheat. They aren't the same machine.

 

Kaukauna, WI for the night. Dump my load off a few miles both of here in the morning then head to Mauston for my second stop.
