I would check to make sure your fuel pump is working, if it's ok then it Sounds like you have a sensor that went out.

checked wires at battery box and relays in fuse panel . He working without a test light so about all he can do is a visual for broken or corroded wires and swap some relays around. when you turn switch on the check engine light does not come on.Tried switch on and holding cruse switch on and got nothing.Swap bulb and bulb is ok.He's trying to find road service now.

Double check the little ECM hot wire at the batteries. I had one the crimp connector that bolts to the battery fractured under the insulation. You could not see it but as soon as I grabbed it, it snapped off.

Anything with low fluids or any sensor would throw the alarms or a code. I would think it's that ECM wire or a fuel problem. Have you fuel recently or are you low on fuel? You can drop the filter to check but fill it back up before putting it back on.

I had the same issue on my C15. Once in a while, drivng down the road, hit a bump and truck would cut off. It would crank but not start,no codes. One of the small wires going to the battery with the inline fuse had a bad connection in the fuse holder, rusted connectors. Have him wiggle all the battery connections and try to start it, do it a few times.GL

Had the same thing with one of my 3126 cruising down the highway hit a bump and it quit dead, wouldn't restart like there was no power, ECM wire at the batteries was corroded bad, wiggled the wire and it restarted.
