Thanks, Chris. You've hauled enough of them to know. I have two 1970s swathers that I've only used for hay, so I never really thought about the fact that they are different machines than the ones that cut corn.
One thing that I do know with certainty: Waiting here in Hesston in this air conditioned truck is less work and more money than cutting hay with my 1970's Hesston swather.

I just read the same story.
I was hauling a exhaust stack piece from the port to Sabine Pass,La.
Now at the T/A to get an airbag on the trl. replaced. It blew out at the job site.. Chained the axle up and came here
Tell me a 5 hour wait and the company says no you can't replace it your self.. Has to been done at a shop.. -

Well this day sucked got load off at 6 took abit to find a place to park to wait on dispatch trailer messed up so had to get it fixed went to pick up load and it was canceled so here I am back at the peelot in mass so day going by and pretty much nothing done I take is Massachusetts is a black hole for out going freight.
