Dropped my loads off in Freedom and Mauston WI this morning. I had a brake chamber on the truck spring a leak on the way home. Got it up to an independent shop in Tomah. Guy worked through his lunch and had both replaced in a half hour. Cant beat that. Dropped my trailer at my direct shipper then ran to the cities to grab the step deck from the shop.
Loading a piece to bring to Windom, Mn in the morning. Go get rid of that then come back and grab my other trailer and head for Nebraska tomorrow evening.dannythetrucker Thanks this. -
Coming outta dubuque this morning my truck decided to beep and whistle about a stupid Egr cooler code. So I dropped off a skidsteer and ran it up to volvo in Fort Wayne my brother came and picked me up. Hopefully be done tomorrow. I guess my stuff will just have to sit for a couple days

You ever have trouble up that way again Sal's Towing and Repair right in Mauston does excellent work. Turn left at the Pilot and they are down on the left.MJ1657 Thanks this.

Thanks i'll jot that down. I didn't realize it until I was in Camp Douglas. I stopped at a place called Kimpton Truck Service in Tomah. I thought $157.50 out the door for both cans and a half hour turn around was really fair.
I had another nice customer service deal today. I was coming through Ripon WI today on 23 and the road was closed for construction. There were no detour signs and I couldn't quite figure out how to get around it. I got turned around and went to the Kwik Trip to ask for advice. The employees there made up color coded maps to hand out to people because so many people were getting lost. Great customer service on their part. My question is why did the county not put up any detour signs? Stupid. -
At the receiver in Aurora, Illinois. Unload my silo in the morning, bounce up to Milwaukee, turn my truck in, and then head home to start the new job on Thursday. I was just viewing some of the other forums on the website. Maybe it is just me, but holy cow there sure seems to be an influx of crybabies as of late. One person in particular, all she does is ***** about how trucking sucks and she has "been in the trucking game" for blah blah blah years and so on and so forth. If I ever get to that point that I no longer have fun at this then I guess it is time to hang up the keys and ask you guys "Do you want a hot apple pie with that?".
dannythetrucker and passingthru69 Thank this.
