RD has a lot going for it. Not too big, but lots of work. Close to Calgary for a city visit, close to the mountains for leisure.

That's what I was thinking....Calgary, mountains. As good as GP for work?
Anyone else have an opinion? -
Red deer is not really any further from the mountains, just not as close to Banff. No loss Banff nit the only nice place in the mountains. Not that many companies actually have firld offices in Calgary. Usually they have a field office in Red Deer or medicine hat

Send me a resume. -
Once working, will it make much difference where a guy lives? Looking to work in the patch.
-
Red Deer, Edmonton and GP are all good choices. I prefer Edmonton, there's a bigger variety of employment choices here.
-
If it was me I'd live in red deer or Edmonton... Gixxer send prairie boy a résumé if your interested. Very good company!

Well. Looks like Red Deer it is. Looking online, there are head office there or nearby for the larger players anyways. Not far from Calgary or Nisku.

I don't know too much about the Oil Fields but I do know it's sporatic more times than not. I am the recuiter for Livingston International Vehicle Transportation Division out of Calgary and Edmonton. Looking for a few good car haulers to run Alberta only. Starting rate $75k, benefits, pension and profit sharing. Not a bad gig and lots of work. Call me, write me whatever, information is free for the taking. David Brown 888.227.4656 ext 5511
