I hate it when a load cancels and it's a load that was your return load. I asked to have all my loads pulled because I booked the 1st load because of the 2nd load and the 3rd load to get me back home. they pulled the 3rd load it was the 2nd that cancelled and I told them to pull the 1st load too and he proceeded to tell me freight is soft in Texas and he's not sure if he can pull the 1st load since it's a service critical load and they need it delivered. It picks up Thursday.....I told him I'm not taking it because I only booked it because of the 2nd and 3rd loads made it work for me. There's no loads as of now that work for me in Paris TX....what would you guys do?

Freight isn't soft in texas. He just wants you to deliver that load. God, I hate hate it when they just assume that you're stupid and lie to you. I'll be in Waco, friday morning and I'll post up the load I get and we'll see how "soft" it is. *I'm a company Driver, not an I\c, but I love your thread*

Just tell him straight up "I am not taking the load".

I had to do this with them once when they tried to send me about 175-200 miles OOR to go pick up an empty trailer. Support shift guy tried arguing with me saying that they weren't going to take the load off me because they didn't have enough capacity in the area. I told him again and sent in a message after we got off the phone just saying I am not taking this load. Then I went and sat at the OC LOL when my ICA showed up the next morning I explained the situation and she removed it.

Worst case? Hey your truck has a check engine light that just popped up!! You took it to the shop to have them take a quick look at it they said they aren't sure how long it could take to repair!! Uh oh better have all the loads pulled just in case.

3 hours later start assigning new loads.... LMAO. Seriously, what are they gonna do? Who gives a crap?

I'm all for being honest and admitting when I screw up, but when SNI screws up and tries to pass it on to me?? Nope DFO DON'T PLAY THAT GAME.

Oh they took it off but only after I told him I wasn't delivering the load regardless of what he thought.. but he was cool after and it was off in less than 5 minutes. I wasn't going to haul that load without me finding freight I wanted not what they wanted... thanks for y'alls posts.

Its up to your DBL if the load can be pulled. When i first started with sni, they would let you cancel a load. It had to be 24hrs before pu. They changed it because drivers would book a load, then 5min later they would see something better and call and cancel load. For some reason its always the 2nd load that gets canceled. Happen to me a few times.

I don't ask to cancel loads unless a load I booked cancels every load I book is part of a round trip so if 1 cancels it ruins the rest unless I can replace it.
