Verizon straight talk from Wallmart. No contract, unlimited text, talk, data, 3g(I think!) for $50 per month. Doesn't work in Canada unless you pay about $10 more. I think they also have a family plan that's cheaper. Coverage is the best of all carriers out there. Service is good bang for the buck. I like the Android apps for truckers that ATT doesn't have.
Verizon VS AT&T, which one?

I have T-mobile $70.00 prepaid and it is really bad service, as soon you leave city area 20 miles away you have no more internet service. yeah 2g but you cant even listen to a internet radio, and one more problem i have is if you are on a call with someone and you switch towers it cuts you off. Its really pain in the ### when you are really in need of internet, or to call someone. Now I am looking to switch either to a Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint, still waiting to see which gives the best service and so the coverage.

I use AT&T. the coverage across the country is the same as Verizon (they piggy back off each other) the Biggest difference is the data. Verizon will throttle you. Meaning that you could have unlimited data but, as soon as you hit a certain amount of data is a specified time they will start to slow down your connection to the point its slower than dial-up even though your connected at 4G LTE. Sprint also throttles.

I was with Verizon for 10 years. Very good service. Then a friend told me about Straight Talk. I moved to ST in 2010 and still have Verizon. Straight Talk in on both Verizon with phones who numbers end with the letter "C". And it has AT&T phones which end with the letter " G". I pay $45 a month for unlimited everything. And for a few dollars more you can add Canada. You can even get on auto refill. Which refills every 30 days. Or call ST, or buy a new card in any Walmart. I chose to pay once a year ,it gives me 5 days free and cost less. I'm well pleased with my service. ST now offers 4G in areas.
x#1 Thanks this. -
(Technically, LTE phones can work with any carrier's LTE service, but currently, none use LTE for voice calls.)
CDMA-S: Sprint
CDMA-V: Verizon
GSM-A: AT&T
GSM-T: T-Mobile
Not all carriers are offered in all stores.Charlami, Dieselboss and Nightwind8830 Thank this. -
I have Verizon, my trainer had AT&T. A Year or so ago when I was riding with him, it seemed about the same. Now that no neither do unlimited, it really boils down to price and phone choice. I love Verizon, for all the dirty crap they pull, call with an honest complaint and they address it immediately. Been with them for over almost 8 years and I won't leave them.

My data gets throttled pretty much every month on AT&T... and I have a grandfathered "unlimited" plan!
