Owatonna MN headed for Nebraska in the morning. Finishing up some wings and a cold beverage and I'm heading to the bunk. Long day.

 

Back at Baytown, Seems like my little short haul gig is up..
Ran out of parts they needed my trl. for, But on a bright note, the off ld. foreman told us when the next units are due in and he wants 3 of us to come back for the move. Told him call the office and let them know. He said he has to run it through the chain of command. Who knows

 

Had a weird thing today. I'm getting ready to make a left hand turn. I'm sitting in the far right lane for this turn.
I start making the turn and these 2 guys come up blowing the horn and yelling something about a trl. tire.
Ok I make the turn and pull over thinking I had a flat.. No these 2 idiots are wanting to know if I want a too buy a trl. tire cheap..
Freakin fools. Looked like crack heads to me...

 

I wish I wasn't here. Denver is getting hammered with storms. Tornado warnings all over the place. Winds just kicked up to about 80mph here in Limon and now the sirens are going off.... Doubt I'll get any sleep tonight.

 

Oh, just open the bunk vents for the cool breeze and let the wind rock you to sleep..
Hope the weather lets up for you..

 

HaulHand, Yea the rates are still in the toliet everywhere..
Looked on some this evening and nothing that good for me to set my alarm for to call on first thing in the morning.

 

At home in Appleton. Start the new gig in the morning. Had to go buy a lunchpail tonight, I didn't want the cool kids to make fun of me brown bagging it. I am not $$$$ing you guys, I REALLY hope I didn't step on my Richard by taking this job. I know I have an open door to go back, but swallowing my pride and admitting I made a mistake would come hard.
