They provide this polo several sizes too large because after a while of living on truck stop vittles you will grow into then eventually out if it. This is how you differentiate between seasoned veteran drivers and noobs!

I always dress so if I'm in a truckstop people can tell me as a driver instead of mistaking me for a common four wheeler.

I'm not a trucker...but i've seen them dress in all types of attire.
Some in uniform, some in jeans and t-shirt, BUT none have wore a suit.

I think these guys are messing with you. Just go to a local truck stop and hang out there and have a diner meal. Meet up with and talk to some of them.

You're forgetting the reflective vest that you never take off, just like the headset.

It used to be you knew a professional driver by how he looked, neat jeans or work pants, nice shirt, clean hat, showered. Now days a professional driver only has to have his shorts or sweat pants match his sandals........

I own a tux, and decided for the fun of it to wear it when I came on the yard...once.
The looks were worth the effort.
But someone in drivers services caught me in the haul and had me report for a random drug test.
    (I passed)
