I agree 100% , I am from the Indianapolis area and was thinking about Knight and here comes all the negative post. I have been on here for 8 months and more confused now than before I started looking for good info.

Very frustrating

 

Have not read all post about knight but have been back with them for 2 1/2 yrs now..jumped around for awhile 6 companys ..but have found knight to be a pretty good co. Overall.

Pay is around 45,000 i stay out 3wks go home 3-4 days, my choice.
About 70% drop and hook.
Usually have plenty of time to make runs.
Knight will not mico manage you..i like that.they tend to just let you do your job.
They are not perfect but i really dont have any big issues with them.
It is true that your DM makes alot of difference with thi co however. But you can switch DMs whenever you feel you need to...
Drop me a line if you have a question..i cant and won't speak for all the drivers but will tell you what i know.

 

I really like Knight Trans too. They are good to work for. I make good money. The bonus program is great. I quit them once before but they asked me back and said I could have my pet (therefore my husband too) along with me I came back and haven't regretted a day.

I Have orientation In a week was wanting to know what the physical Is like?? Do they make u take the sleep test like some companies

 

Where is orientation ? I am going to be in Indianapolis in a few days anyone here know about what all they have there. Do they have a school there , someone to talk to about jobs ?
I don't have time to read back through the thread right now but thought I might check them out while I am there.

 

The indy terminal is off exit 77 from I-70 south to second light on right.

 

No sleep test but they do a physical activity test.

 

Ohh man m scared now ,all those neg comments about this company m currently with werner 3 wk out 3ndays home m looking for more home time they offer me something like 7 to 10 days out 2 days home really good but now m thinking..... also got another offer for marteen but they stay 10 to 14 days out ,, what do u think guys marteen or knight? ??
