They provide this polo several sizes too large because after a while of living on truck stop vittles you will grow into then eventually out if it. This is how you differentiate between seasoned veteran drivers and noobs!

I always dress so if I'm in a truckstop people can tell me as a driver instead of mistaking me for a common four wheeler.

I'm not a trucker...but i've seen them dress in all types of attire.
Some in uniform, some in jeans and t-shirt, BUT none have wore a suit.
I think these guys are messing with you. Just go to a local truck stop and hang out there and have a diner meal. Meet up with and talk to some of them. -

You're forgetting the reflective vest that you never take off, just like the headset.
It used to be you knew a professional driver by how he looked, neat jeans or work pants, nice shirt, clean hat, showered. Now days a professional driver only has to have his shorts or sweat pants match his sandals........Joetro Thanks this. -

I own a tux, and decided for the fun of it to wear it when I came on the yard...once.
The looks were worth the effort.
But someone in drivers services caught me in the haul and had me report for a random drug test.
