You mean somebody is still running a John Deere 100 big baler?
I have never heard anybody that had anything good to say about those.
We are all green here, but you couldn't give me one of those balers.

It has been an excellent baler for us.

Spent the day getting the step deck set up and a few odds and ends on the truck. Time to go find some beer bottles with my name on them.

    milskired and dannythetrucker Thank this.

Is that a console model 4020 with the loader on it?

2520 diesel power shift side console. We have two of them both bought new. The other one is a narrow front. They only made 252 of them. Worth a few bucks to a collector.

I've had it for 8 years, and I bought it used off my mom's husband for $50. It may have 6 hours on it since I bought it since there is very little call for it living in suburbia. Replace the plug and fuel line. They didn't have the right air or fuel filter today. It ran like a champ for backyard demolitions days. 2 palm trees, 1/2 an oak and a bottle brush are down, now to haul them away tomorrow. My two big palms spared the saw this weekend, but they are on my hitlist. I have to have some room for my blood orange and key lime tree. I wish I would have cut them down before I planted the citrus, but the citrus needed to get out of their old planters.

Not sure how many of you O/O have FB but if you do look at Rate per mile masters. Kind of curious what you heavy haul guys think about a load that somebody said is available on it. Just always been curious about how you guys go about coming up with a quote for a move. Pretty interesting to read through some stuff on it. This load in particular seems like it would be on the lower end of acceptable but I don't know jack about pulling multi axle HH stuff!

After work today went to the Freedom run destination out here. It goes down to Marseilles, IL to the Middle Eastern Conflicts Memorial wall. Kind of a yearly thing but a good time. Pretty sure I past the hand on here, Hurst on my way out on 80

Here's a tip. If you are delivering inside to the nuke plant in Marseilles, charge double and be prepared to have an armed passenger ride with you.

Yes,those are rare. Never saw one that was a power shift, but I know a guy here with a 2520 narrow front that is also a one owner.
We have a 71 4020 that we have had since 1987,we are the second owners. It was ordered with 4320 rear fenders. The other 4 I would sell, but the 4020 will be here as long as i am.

    dannythetrucker and MJ1657 Thank this.

We still have the mounted picker that came with the narrow front in the shed. I believe the model # is 237? We have two 4020's one with a loader and the other has a cab and pulls our spreader. It has an M&W turbo with a straight pipe. Sounds cool.
