Never made it to East Point/Atlanta. Stopped just before 9pm in Nikkajack Dam Tennessee at the Loves. Nice new one too. Was just going to take my 30, but still knida tired from running the overnight and the 90 min traffic jam on I 24 in Nashville. God awful, worse than NYC. Anyway, up at 230 am and got to the receiver on time. Was told they were gonna swap me so I could head home today, but never heard back. Currently in Commerce GA at the J waiting for my 10 to be up then onto the Walmart DC in Henderson NC for a 0615 tomorrow morning. Then 2-3 hour ride back to Plymouth for perhaps an abbreviated hometime as I am preplanned for a Tuesday 10am Cardinal Health group Cadaver or whatever run to Earth City MO near St Charles. Hey Johnboy, your first of four train wrecks is still fighting to stay on the tracks. Deuces.
jungHo and passport220 Thank this. -
Why is it, when you go to a mom and pop truck stop, and if they offer wifi, it's not only free but useable BUT..... these friggin chains that charge you, can't even give you a decent signal!!!! PFJ...... you suck!!!!!
passport220 and jaso36 Thank this. -

Hi I hope everyone is doing ok. IV been running like a nut. Sorry to say this is my last week I gave my notice last week. I can't see the sense in driving 2734 miles and getting a check for 272.00 that makes no sense to me. Plus every load I get is late before I pick it up. IV had 4 checks in the hole and I told them when I started I'd let 2 go and I gave them 4. I'm not going to sled my whole life savings trying to work here. They don't give me time to do anything. I'm working to live not living to work. I'd rather work and get 272.00 for the actual work iv done. But to drive all week and that's all I got once it was 160.00 for 2600 miles. And I'm very cheap on my fuel. I'm moving back to Nevada and they said I could get there but won't make me a company driver so I must go. They did say for 2700 miles I should have gotten around 500.00 well big deal then I have to take out tax and Medicare and pay medical insurance and social security. That leaves me with no money to even eat on. OK I'm done griping. I is yall I'll drop in more often if I can

Finally got out of Jersey. That place Sucks for trucks. The exit ramps don't have merging lanes. And the loops are very tight for a 53 footer. Plus the highway system there dosnt seam to make any sense. In PA for the night then onto North Jackson Ohio in the late morning.
Panhandle flash and HometimeQueen Thank this. -
Sorry things didn't work out for you. Did you lease your truck? I wish you the best with your move and future endeavors. Take care and do keep in touch.

I was told your working towards the bonus check at the end and I said oh well then I give you that and they told me then you have a truck but by that time I would hhave long gone through my savings and my landlord could care less if I own a truck or not. Lol he wants his money now

We are all sorry this did not turn out better for you
you might point out from your experience the disadvantages of leasing for new people to the industrywulfman75 and Panhandle flash Thank this.
