I have noticed you are pretty consistent on keeping the doors closed. The only words of comfort I have is they don't build them like they used to.

Hey man... Getting my parking spot here was MUCH EASIER than I imagined and MUCH BETTER than I would have expected... :yes2557:
I am parked right IN FRONT of the school gate... :blob3:Yes, SIR! :yes2557:
I planned sooo much... thought would have to go around a few blocks to park at empty lot and thought would have to walk around to evaluate the location... None of that was necessary... :biggrin_25512:Actually, the place looks a little different from the pictures I saw on Google street view and satellite... It is much wider than I thought... :biggrin_25519:

First, I parked at empty lot on that corner... across from intersection... if you can see the arrow on this picture... But didn't need to go several blocks to do it safely... It was all a matter of good timing and quick move... :biggrin_25519:

Then, I walked to the car fuel station across... they had an empty space right in front of school gate... saw signs saying, "no overnight parking... will be towed"... :biggrin_2556: So, I went inside and asked for manager and explained to her the situation... And she said, "that's ok... go ahead and park there..." :yes2557:YEAH!!! :blob2:

    Here I am now....

The school has large driveways... It's going to be piece of cake... :yes2557: Only thing I need to make sure is the height of that line at the entrance so it will not get caught on the trailer...

And this is going to be a very quiet night... :biggrin_25518:Although I have my meal prepared here, will go inside station and buy a Subway veggie pizza and a bag of ice... :biggrin_25519:

    Wow !!!!
this place in Hagerstown MD . Is a mess !!!!
The entrance is almost parked shut. I am pretty sure , well maybe sure that this guy is......:biggrin_2552: well let me ask ya this ??
If a guy is parked in the fuel island for over 45 minutes , is it save to assume he is shutting down for the night ?:biggrin_25526:

Hagerstown MD?? :biggrin_2552: Places like those are awful... I stay away from those as much as possible... Like the FJ in Texarkana last night... I think that was the first time I parked there for the night... and maybe it was the last one... I would rather park at a WM or a smaller fuel station or a rest area (my most preferable) than truck stops like those... Folks get desperate and park wherever... and if you have to leave very early in the morning, you may find yourself blocked... :biggrin_2552::biggrin_25510: Besides, I can't sleep well cause I worry about someone hitting the truck while leaving or backing next to me...

This place here is an "oasis" compared to that FJ last night... No noise, no other truck, right in front of customer, restroom a few feet away, Subway... and security cameras pointed at the truck... I am in paradise! :biggrin_25520:

Parked at the Pilot in Hagerstown ? Go across the street to ACT and eat some awesome food. Love the country food those ladies cook up.

Eating dinner at the rest area 40 miles past Texarkana Flying J. Wife thought we could shower there. Had no clue how much of a cluster it is there. Hard to get out of there.

Our yard was packed worse than the South Atlanta Pilot. I barely found a spot to park my trailer. The local guys will be busy tomorrow.

Parked in the door for my first stop in Nags Head in the AM. Woke up this morning and noticed fuel filter was near full and since I was planning on getting a PM done on the next week or so just went ahead and got one done and then drove on down here. Nice ocean breeze coming in. Gonna be a good nights sleep
