Had to do split at 02 to get it here on time. Rather be early THEN take the last 2, rather then take 10 and probably be late. Looks like they may take a good chunk of that time before they get to me anyway, so works out well.

Well, it's honeybee swarming season. If there were a couple hundred bees in a relatively small area (100' ball), then that's likely what it was.

I bet you had a dead something in the dead space (!) between the apron and floor of the trailer.Very possible a nest with some untended eggs or baby birds in there. Not a lot of mass, so not a lot of stink... but enough to get your attention once in a while. Also impossible to clean out, though a pressure washer into the vent holes (which the birds use for access) might be able to get it. Just try explaining THAT one to the guys at the Blue Bacon...

 

Sitting at Ft Worth Freightliner waiting for a clutch safety switch to be replaced. 20 minutes trying to her to fire up this morning was a little much. Then, on to Denver.

 

Finally got to Sprimo this morning. Dumped off former student got a new load and I am sitting at the Flying J in Sullivan MO. Heading eastbound. Home by Friday

IP, have followed ur posts & know that when ur lease ended u purchased ur truck. Curious, merely from a maintenance standpoint, ur observation(s) on ur truck's performance as it has aged. Currently I lease in the tanker div (Prime) but am considering purchase of a 2010-aged company or lease truck that Prime is planning to sell. Outside of the primary considerations of cash flow outlook, initial capitalization and future reserving do u have thoughts?
