if I am understanding what you said, they let your husband get in on a lease when he was a NEW driver?

 

They prey on new drivers. Very few seasoned hands would go with them. They have a bad rep!

 

I had a very similar experience about 8 years ago. Mine bill was $14000. I told them to do something to them selves and I did not pay. To this day I have not paid, and no secret squad of attorneys has nocked on my door. It did sit on my credit report for 7 years, but was very easy to explain to creditors.

EDIT: Forgot to add, I too got negative paychecks for about two months before I returned the truck to Salt Lake.

 

Join OOIDA. They are pushing lawsuits against England and others.

 

I went to school # england drove for them about three monthes made no money lost evertything so i left the truck # one of their terminals and started driving for a small company

 

Get a lawyer, QUICK.

 

They do that all the time. They prey on ones than don't know any better.

 

You may want to keep a recorder handy, so if you ever talk to CR again and they try and threaten you, you have a record of it. It may help down the road if things do get ugly. And notes, a paper trail is so important in these kind of deals.
