Training for recent grads ???

    Can anyone tell me how long training is for recent CDL grads ? I read on their site 4 or 5 months of real training and I don't want to be away from home 4 months in training !

    Watkins-Shepard has terminals in WA and their training is only 10 days, unless you request a longer training period.

    My company is 200 hrs behind the wheel. 4 to 5 weeks.

    4 weeks out with your trainer, no team driving. After your 4 weeks (home time during that 4 week period) with your trainer you run 30,000 miles solo and are considered on probation, after that you are a full driver and will get benefits and .34 cpm i believe. Starting orientation on Tuesday in Phoenix so should be able to tell you more if needed.
