A question for you Trans Am drivers, I see the company has listed several 2012 tractors with less than 300k on them, they all have the Paccar engine and I wondering if they are getting rid of them because they are a problem or just going a different way.
Thanks -
Thank you HTQ. I just figured out the Walmart DC is close to another one of our receivers, Wegmans. There really is no proper parking in that area but I think I know a place I can squeeze into in a pinch.HometimeQueen Thanks this.

Interesting , would like to see more info on this myself.

TransAm is getting rid of the 700s because they aren't happy with them overall. The 660s are aging out and TransAm was shifting in to 700s. But now TransAm is shifting to become an all 680 fleet. Some of the 700s are just fine with no problems out of the normal stuff but others just suck. They've had more problems with the 700s than the 660s. Hence the reason all these 700s are flying into the sales lot. My best friend also told me about a company driver fresh out of orientation being put into a 680. I'm interested to hear if more of this will be happening soon.
I am delivering at Food Lion in Greencastle, PA. Pick up later in Clarion going to Lowe's in Rockford, IL.HometimeQueen, gntorres61, dennisroc and 1 other person Thank this. -
I know I Loved my 700 when I was there. Had just 18 on it when I started. Only one problem in 6 months that had me broke down. I really liked that truck.

Plus from what I heard TransAm had input with Kenworth in developing the T680. I don't know if that had anything to do with the owners wife being part owner on the Kenworth dealership in Olathe.

I left there about 8 weeks ago have made more driving in 8 weeks elsewhere than at TA. The first week elsewhere I ran 2400 mile made $1200 gross im paid by the load % any how in 2 week away from TA my gross was over the 82 days and 36,000 plus miles. I spent 29 years as a employer in my previous business id been in prison doing what TA is doing to lease drivers. Shame on TA and the owner Johnny. New laws need written to put these loan shark behind bars. Also you will be sent a credit for the lease than 10 days later a bill full of pages BS charges. I called them out havent heard a thing back. Make sure you take pictures inside and out of the truck trust me I got them in lies about damage to the truck which didn't exist.pictures are worth money shut them up fast.

Good afternoon everyone! I am so proud of you all .....gold stars for everyone on their map pins! There are some summer thunderstorms out there with the potential for some of them to be severe...especially in the afternoon hours.
Bigred81, I saw the same ads and Panhandle and I were discussing them and wondering also. Thank you for the info, honeybadger!
jungHo, did George leave this morning? I know home time always flies by so fast.....and it is hard when they climb back in that truck. He will be home again before you know it......and he is doing so well!
melo15, are you still in Georgia? You are doing well, also!
Alright ....I can't put off chores any longer.......much as I would like too!
