You're only 100 over now, scales won't bother you.But in the future check how shipping loaded you.Sounds like you was blaming them when you called them idiots when you know as well as I do it wasn't their fault.

Does anybody read? She can't slide her fifth wheel.
Nobody will even look twice at 100 lbs over, and as pointed out, it will be less than that as fuel is used.
Also, here's the state-by-state listing for the APU exemption: Vehicle weight exemptions for APUsmissjhawk and bullhaulerswife Thank this. -
I have the skills 2 follow a map but the company I work 4 makes us follow their route because with the fuel solutions they give sometime takes us a few more miles so they can get the cheap prices after I have completed all my fuel services stops sometime I don't have a choice to folow their route solution if it was just as simple as just going 2 tx from oh yes no problem but when I have 2 follow their route 4 fuel stop 2 b in compliance I dont pick fuel stops they tell us where 2 go and how many gallons 2 get I just couldn't see y they had me 2 stay on 24 and not go into tn if im coming off east coast going thru Nashville is they only way I pretty much go TONYTHETRUCKERDUDE explained it because I couldn't see it

Good luck and remember #### happens. It just sucks when you step in it.missjhawk Thanks this. -
Well since her fifth wheel is not working, the company is responsible for the ticket if she gets one anyway on her steers and Id tell them that.

Hi 70 driver, how is it the companies fault the fifth wheel isn't working?Would'nt that be the drivers responsibility to make sure it is working and notify the company ASAP if any issues?
-
Even though your weight on axles are good now. What you have to worry about in TN is bridge law. Which they do check. If your in the 13th hole you may be to far back. Not sure. Might be why your company is send you around tn
double yellow Thanks this. -
They have it disconnected. Its their fault she cant use it so yes Id tell them in a minute if I got a ticket because of their stupidity, they would pay it.
pattyj and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this. -
Just goes to show that we all need to be aware of changing laws and regs. The company she works for has a responsibilty to keep their drivers up to date with laws and should be aware of the loads she has dispatched if they are close to limit ,but as with all things... Poop rolls downhill and the blame game starts when it hits the bottom.
Reading it all again only two options remain. 1) go reload it correctly 2) roll on.
Supernova.
