All very good comments, the OP needs practice spring, summer, fall and winter.
Practice any place and everyplace. Wyoming as well as Texas have large truck parking areas. practice in them as well as other large truck stops.
If you were to stop me and ask for a second set of eyes. I would help you. no driver out here can see around his truck from inside the cab.
watch others who have a truck like yours. watch how they line up to back in a rest spot, dock or parking space.
good luck.

One more thing to keep in mind, where your tandems are set. Remember, if your tandems are set far forward, keep in mind you might have 10' of trailer or more hanging over. Watch your angle hitting a hole, you could clip a truck or trailer on your blind side.
If your unsure where objects are behind you GET OUT AND LOOK!
I've never been hesitant about getting out and walking around the truck, I don't care who's waiting or watching. Especially at night. -

simple. practice makes perfect. people can tell you the best way but every body is different. if your at a warehouse with a lot of open doors, practice. if you know of a store or warehouse that is closed with a dock, practice. the more you do it the better you will get. in time you will figure out the best way for you. just try to avoid bind siding until you know what you are doing. if you get to a place where you have to blind side, ask for help. better safe then sorry.
